Doing science is essentially a form of communication. Unlike other professions that deliver emotions and (mis)information, we communicate evidence-based knowledge. The knowledge in our minds is the most valuable thing, and our work should be guided by what we believe.

In this section, you will find discussions on various academic activities such as writing, presentation, programming, and networking. We hope these discussions will be helpful for your scientific explorations.

Before jumping into the following sections, you may want to watch this short clip of Steve Jobs introducing the iconic marketing campaign of Think Different. No other field emphasizes effective communication more than marketing does. In this video, you will find many marketing principles that parallel our academic guidelines.
